The Chilean government decided not to extend the general quarantine on Easter Island, since there were no new cases of coronavirus infection, TASS reported referring to the health minister.

The Minister noted the curfew will continue to operate on the island and additional sanitary control will be organized at the local airport for all residents.

The Chilean government also abolished quarantine in the southernmost city on Earth - Puerto Williams.
