An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 hit Los Angeles, The Independent reported.

The earthquake was recorded on Wednesday, at 12 am local time. Light shocks were also felt in Southern California, the US Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter was about half a mile from Slauson and La Brea avenues. The earthquake was also felt in Long Beach, Santa Monica, West Hollywood and Burbank.

Los Angeles International Airport also tweeted about the earthquake, while noting that there was no damage.
