Armenia’s notaries will have the opportunity to accept the testimonies of witnesses. This is what Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia Rafik Grigoryan declared during a parliamentary session today.

“By the given amendments, the Ministry of Justice proposes to expand the functions of notaries, providing them with the opportunity to accept the testimonies of witnesses,” the deputy minister explained, adding that if a witness agrees to give a testimony, he or she must be warned about being subjected to criminal liability for giving a false testimony.
