Armenia is undergoing a process of profound rethinking of relations between the state and the individual, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan said on Friday during the discussion of the report on the implementation of the state budget for 2019.
“Today we see and analyze the relationship between the state system and the individual and wonder: how do we perceive our state and our statehood? Do we really perceive them as an instrument of violence described in books, or do we consider Armenia as a reflection of our desire to have a state? ”
According to the PM, this is a conceptual issue. Now during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is necessary to reconsider the relationship between the state system and the individual.
