Melik Rostomyan, an Armenian physician and surgeon at Children’s Regional Hospital of the Kaliningrad Region of Russia, died of coronavirus on Tuesday, the regional government told reporters, RIA Novosti reported.
"On behalf of the government, we extend our condolences to the relatives and friends of the doctor," the statement also said.
This 57-year-old physician's death is the 32nd among the COVID-19 patients in Kaliningrad.
Rostomyan had worked in Yerevan medical facilities, too.
