YEREVAN. – They did very badly. Tigran Ulikhanyan, a member of the majority My Step faction, on Monday stated this in a talk with journalists in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, referring to the photos spread on the social media, where two of his fellow lawmakers are without face masks.
"One should not follow the example of a bad deed, one should follow the example of a good deed. I also take off the mask from time to time, and do very badly. They did very badly by removing the mask, but we are not telling our citizens to imitate the bad. Everyone can make a mistake, but it should not become a rule of conduct that ‘if the NA MP takes off his mask, I should take it off, too,’” he said.
To note, the two aforesaid lawmakers are NA vice speaker Alen Simonyan and Hrachya Hakobyan from My Step faction.
