Lebanese PM Hassan Diab accused Israel of encroaching on the sovereignty of the Lebanese state, as well as violating UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which established a ceasefire on the Lebanese-Israeli border after the conflict in the summer of 2006.
The PM made such a statement on Tuesday at a meeting of the Lebanese Supreme Defense Council, TASS reported.
According to him, Israel has again neglected the sovereignty of Lebanon and violated UN Security Council Resolution 1701, Al-Mayadeen reported.
He urges people to be vigilant in the coming days, taking into account the possibility of a worsening situation on their border.
