A peacekeeping unit of the Armed Forces of Armenia—and comprising 40 servicemen—has departed for Kosovo to carry out peacekeeping mission as part of an American unit. Shushan Stepanyan, spokesperson for the Minister of Defense of Armenia, told about this to Armenpress.

''The members of the unit took a coronavirus test before leaving; all results were negative,'' she added.

These Armenian peacekeepers left for the Kosovo capital city Pristina via Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine.
