Today citizens protecting Mount Amulsar and their children are taking strolls in the garden of the National Assembly of Armenia as a sign of support to the protection of Amulsar and Jermuk.

“Our children need to live in a healthy environment, drink clean water and spend their vacation at resorts in Jermuk. If Mount Amulsar, which is only 7 km away from Jermuk, turns into a mine, Jermuk will cease to exist as a resort complex and a center for tourism,” the defenders of Mount Amulsar said.

The defenders call on all citizens to come out to the garden of the National Assembly with their children and, upon desire, with baby strollers, bikes or skateboards. “Let’s walk and talk to reporters about the rights to live in a healthy environment and health. The decisions made today will have an impact on our future generations,” they added.
