Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia Giorgi Saganelidze and outgoing military attaché at the Embassy of Georgia in Armenia, Colonel Gaga Khachidze.

As reported the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the Armenian defense minister expressed gratitude to Colonel Khachidze for contributing to the development of cooperation of the defense ministries of both countries and wished him success in his future career.

Issues related to the Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the defense and security sectors and other issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting.

Taking into consideration the interconnectedness for ensuring security of the two countries, there was also an exchange of views on the recent developments in the region.
