To this day, my attorneys don’t understand what I’m charged with. This is what second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan said in an interview with RBK.

“There are court hearings every Tuesday. I’ve crossed out Tuesday on my calendar since hearing absurd allegations on that day is an absolute waste of my time…Charging a president with performing his constitutional duties is a sort of abracadabra in law, and my attorneys and I are trying to explain to the people what is happening, not to the judge or court. I think it’s working out,” he stated.

Asked what he does besides being in court and trying to prove his viewpoint, Kocharyan stated that the courts and everything related to them have already become ordinary for him. “Politics, meetings, discussions, analyses, forecasts and interviews are the top things on my list of activities, and, of course, I also perform the duties of an independent director of the Ecosystem Company, which is a large and diversified company with a very active board of directors. I also have different hobbies, including sports, self-development, reading and working on my second book. I released my first book, which was an autobiography in which it seems that I summed up my political career, but politics returned to me, and the second book will be devoted to the continuity of my political career, my return and what is going on right now.”
