In the framework of the contract with the Turkish company Bayraktar on the start of manufacture of drones in the country, Ukraine is looking for a suitable platform for such an enterprise. This was stated by Oleh Urusky, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Branches of Ukraine's Industry, Interfax reported.

"The Turkish side is ready to invest. They need from us a platform that meets the respective requirements, and which, as a result, will eventually manufacture those devices," Urusky told a news conference in Kyiv on Friday.

The deputy PM clarified that Ukrainian engineers and designers will work at this Bayraktar plant in Ukraine, and it will have the right to sell drones both in Ukraine and in other markets.

"We plan to set up several joint ventures [with Turkey], including on the maritime issue," Oleh Urusky added in particular.
