The convoy of the Russian Armed Forces’ 15th separate peacekeeping brigade units, which have arrived to partake in conducting a peacekeeping operation in the Nagorno-Karabakh [(Artsakh)] conflict zone, has reached—with a march of more than 300 km—the concentration area in Goris, Armenia. This was reported to journalists on Thursday by the Russian Defense Ministry, TASS reports.

These units comprise contract servicemen who have undergone special training to carry out a peacekeeping mission. In particular, they have studied the norms of international humanitarian law during armed conflicts.

"The peacekeeping force is equipped with modern weapons, military and special equipment, including (…) armored personnel carriers," the Russian Defense Ministry added.
