Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov met with commander of the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General Rusatm Muradov and discussed the issue related to the peacekeeping mission in Nagorno-Karabakh, RIA Novosti reported, citing the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

The press service also reported the following: “The peacekeeping forces will be deployed in the operative zone, in accordance with the joint statement by the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia and the Prime Minister of Armenia. Organizational issues and issues related to implementation of the peacekeeping mission were discussed during the meeting.”
