My agenda is ensuring stability and security in the republic; there is no other issue on my agenda today. Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this Monday, during his online press conference, and referring to the question whether the issue of his resignation is on the agenda.

To the question whether he thinks that the Armenia public trust in him is enough to participate in the negotiations with Azerbaijan on the status of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Nikol Pashinyan said: "I think that the government of the republic of Armenia should take part in those negotiations; but in practice, now a process of forming a new negotiation agenda is taking place. And if it turns out that trust is not enough, then we cannot participate in those negotiations; if we participate, then it is enough."

Touching upon the question of what status the Artsakh army will have after the entry of Russian peacekeepers into Artsakh, especially when the Western press writes that Armenia completely lost Artsakh, handing over part to Azerbaijan and the part to Russia, Nikol Pashinyan expressed a conviction that the Artsakh Defense Army will have the same status as it has. "When I talk about 20 to 35 thousand soldiers, a huge part of them are the soldiers of the Artsakh Defense Army, and this means that the Artsakh Defense Army exists and will continue to exist. The Defense Army must become stronger, develop, and be the guarantor of Artsakh's sovereignty," he added.
