President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has signed a law on ratification of the Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Cooperation for Supplying Natural Gas, Petroleum Products and Natural Rough Diamonds to Armenia, RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier, Putin had signed a law on ratification of the Protocol to the Agreement on Simplification of Export of Russian Petroleum Products to Armenia, annulling the temporary and regular customs declaration for the export of less than 95 octane number of gasoline, diesel fuel, reactive fuel, heating oil, liquid paraffin from Russia to Armenia.

The Protocol on Supplement to the Agreement on Cooperation for Supplying Natural Gas, Petroleum Products and Natural Rough Diamonds to Armenia, signed on 2 December 2013 between the Governments of Russia and Armenia, was signed on 7 April 2020 in Moscow.

The Protocol envisages the export of Russian petroleum products to Armenia without levying of customs duty for export.
