At least 34 people have been killed in the earthquake that hit Indonesia, the Guardian reported.

According to Ali Rahman, head of the local disaster relief agency, there are already hundreds of victims.

An earthquake had a magnitude of 6.2. It caused numerous landslides. Many buildings and bridges were destroyed on the island.
