The Central Bank of Saudi Arabia uncovered a corruption scheme involving bank employees.
A total of 11.5 billion Saudi riyals (more than $ 3 billion) were withdrawn to foreign accounts, Al Arabiya reported.
The crime has been solved, and the criminals have been caught charged with taking a bribe, forging documents, and a number of other offenses. The accused face up to 15 years in prison, depending on the severity of the offense.
