Speaking about the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, Kocharyan noted that Azerbaijan does not give captives back because it wants to stop Artsakh army replenishment.

Kocharyan is also sure that Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev is under constant pressure over the captives’ issue.

The ex-president called the current situation in the Syunik province 'a disgrace.'

"There are sections there where an Azerbaijani can change his car’s license plate, drive to Yerevan, turn around and go back, and nowhere will he be stopped and asked," Kocharyan noted.

During their trilateral meeting in Moscow on January 11, the leaders of the three countries reached an agreement to set up a trilateral task force for de-blockage of all economic and transport relations in the region.

The Armenian government had declared that deputy PM Mher Grigoryan would represent the Armenian side in the trilateral task force.

Russia's Sergei Lavrov and Armenia's Ara Aivazian have also spoken about security aspects, humanitarian component, unblocking of economic and transport ties, Russian MFA noted.

The sides highlighted the importance of matching interests and joint constructive work of all countries of the region.

The ministers also synchronized watches on some topical issues of Russian-Armenian relations and international issues.

Flights from Moscow to several destinations, including Yerevan, will be canceled from March 28 to April 30.
