YEREVAN. – The Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia on Saturday recorded a magnitude-2.2 earthquake in the country, at 1:23pm local time, 4 km northeast of Shoghakat (Shorzha) village in Gegharkunik province, and 10 km beneath the surface, the MES informed.

It measured magnitude 2 to 3 at the epicenter.

The seismic activity was felt in Shoghakat village—and with magnitude 2 to 3.
