YEREVAN. – We try our best to avoid, as a result of the demarcation, economic damage. Vahan Kerobyan, the Minister of Economy of Armenia, told this to reporters on Thursday.
He noted that the lands lost to Azerbaijan are of agricultural importance, but he assured that the Armenian state will do everything possible to neutralize these losses.
The minister explained that a task force led by Robert Ghukasyan, adviser to the prime minister, has been set up. "The task force is effectively resolving the problems. The issues that were raised during my visit to Syunik Province in January of this year are also being resolved," the economy minister added.
