US President Joe Biden is thinking more often about his possible re-election and “rematch” against ex-president Donald Trump. Biden knows this is a very realistic possibility, said one of his advisers.

In an interview with Axios, White House chief of staff Ron Klain said that Biden expects to have the opportunity to compete with Trump again. Klain added, however, that he would not want to assess or underestimate Donald Trump as an opponent if he decides to run for president again.

According to him, Biden is working on a list of achievements that will make it difficult for Trump, or any other Republican, to win in 2024. Klain noted that his experience has shown that incumbent presidents are assessed in accordance their work.

But the question is whether Biden will run again for president, given his advanced age. He is 78 years old now, and in 2024 he will be 81 years old.

People close to Joe Biden, however, expect him to run for a second term and believe this could be another presidential race against Donald Trump.
