Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan today held a telephone conversation with Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Stanislav Zas, as reported the press service of the Security Council.

The focus of the phone talks was on the tension on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border. In this context, Secretary Grigoryan presented the current and actual situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

During the conversation, Grigoryan emphasized that the Azerbaijani side’s claims and pretensions are ungrounded.

The parties discussed the mechanisms that exist within the scope of the CSTO and provide the opportunity to solve the situation quickly and completely.

Zas assured that he will actively help take steps for a peaceful solution to the issue within the scope of his powers.
