Today electronic media spread reports that a major car accident had taken place in Syunik Province after a car traveling from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Yerevan got into an accident, shamshyan.com reports.

As reported photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the accident took place, but it was another vehicle, not a bus. At around 12 p.m. resident of the city of Stepanakert of Artsakh Samvel Mangasaryan, 44, with his Nissan X-Trail, in the 192.5 km sector of the Yerevan-Meghri road, in circumstances yet unknown, curved off the road, collided with metal-concrete barriers and rolled nearly 200 meters into the gorge. As a result of the accident, residents of Stepanakert (41-year-old Inna Mangasaryan, 15-year-old Diana Mangasaryan, 10-year-old Pavlik Mangasaryan and 36-year-old Ogsanna Gabrielyan) were transferred to Sisian Medical Center, and driver S. Mangasaryan was transferred to Aghitu Military Hospital in the city of Sisian. Officers of the first platoon of the sixth company of the second battalion of Road Police arrived at the scene and are currently preparing a report.

S. Mangasaryan, one of the victims, is in extremely critical condition, and the others are in critical but stable condition.
