Sweden will provide Ukraine with SEK 50 million ($5.4 million) over three years to support economic development, dialogue and overall resilience in southern and eastern Ukraine, AP reports.
The money will go to the Partnership Fund for a Sustainable Ukraine, set up jointly with the UK, Switzerland and the US.
This fund will help strengthen the resilience of Ukraine, Foreign Minister Ann Linde said in a statement.
It will be able to respond quickly and flexibly to the needs that have evolved and materialized as a result of Russian aggression since 2014.
This money is in addition to the 240 million crowns that Ukraine receives annually from Sweden for civil society reform.
