Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh denied Western media reports that an agreement on a nuclear deal had been reached at the JCPOA talks in Vienna, Mehr reports.

Iran dismissed a Reuters report that the Vienna talks worked out a deal to renew the 2015 Iran deal, saying it was only meant to strengthen the Western parties' negotiating position and had nothing to do with reality.

Reuters said it had access to a 20-page draft agreement agreed by the participants in the Vienna talks, which outlines the sequence of steps to be implemented after it is approved by the other parties to the deal.

Iranian website Nour News, which is close to the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), released a statement refuting the Reuters publication, noting that it only aims to create a false picture of what is happening in Vienna, to raise the profile of Western parties on negotiations and prove that they have secured serious concessions from the Iranian side.
