YEREVAN. – A Georgian delegation, led by chairman Shalva Papuashvili of the Parliament of Georgia, is on a two-day official visit to Armenia at the invitation of National Assembly (NA) president Alen Simonyan.
They visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in the capital Yerevan, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. The members of the delegation laid a wreath and placed flowers at the eternal flame commemorating the victims of the Genocide, and honored these Holy Martyrs in silence and with a bow of respect.
Then, they toured the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute where they got acquainted with the documents attesting to this tragedy in 20th century.
