As part of the Concorso D'Eleganza at Ville D' Este 2022 automotive elegance competition in Italy on Lake Como, the public debut of the world's only Aston Martin Bulldog took place, Motor reported.
A team of specialists restored the 40-year-old concept car for several years. After its premiere at the exhibition of classic cars the unique two-door will be sent for driving tests.
Work at the Aston Martin Bulldog began in 1977 - the brand was going to build the fastest car of its time, for which purpose it developed a coupe with an unusual wedge-shaped silhouette. Equipped with a 5.3-liter turbo V8 engine with 608 horsepower, supercar creators planned to accelerate up to 322 kilometers per hour, but eventually in 1979 at the test range MIRA was able to reach only 307 kilometers per hour.
