Open film festival of the CIS countries, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia Kinoshock-2011 will open in Anapa on September 11.

There are 14 films in the main contest, including “Wondering” by Arshaluys Harutyunyan.

Kinoshock-2011 will have five contests: the main contest, "KinoMalyShok", "Non-format", "The boundaries of shock" (a competition of short films) and "Shock TV", which will choose the best television program.

The Open Film Festival of CIS countries, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia is held under the auspices of Russia’s President Administration, Russian Government with the support of the Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation of CIS (IFHC), Russian Ministry of Culture, Administration of Russian Krasnodar Region, Administration of Anapa resort.

President of the Festival is playwright, director Viktor Merezhko.
