The special operation in Ukraine is a long process, but the emergence of new territories within Russia is a significant result, also the Sea of Azov became an internal sea of Russia, Russian President Vladimir Putin said, RIA Novosti reported.

"As for the long process of the special operation results, of course, it is a long process, but then you mentioned that new territories appeared - well, here is still a significant result for Russia, this is a serious matter. And, let it be a sin, the Sea of Azov became an internal sea of the Russia, this is a serious thing," Putin said.

He added that the most important thing is the people who live in all the new territories.
