The United States has sent Ukraine the first part of its aid in the field of energy, White House representatives announced on Monday, VOA reported.

Washington, after Russia's intensifying attacks, continues to work to assist the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

According to one of the sources, the first tranche included about $13 million worth of energy equipment.

Another source familiar with the situation informed that two planes loaded with such equipment will fly from the US this week.
