UN Secretary-General António Guterres said the current global geopolitical environment is worse than at any time in his lifetime, he wrote on his Twitter account.
"We are facing the gravest levels of geopolitical division and mistrust in generations," the organization's secretary general said.
He also added that while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, he urged leaders to overcome divisions and restore alliance to promote peace, sustainable development and respect for human rights.
