An Iranian convoy of 25 food trucks was attacked from the air on its way from Iraq's Anbar province to Syria's Deir ez-Zor, Tasnim reports.
According to the Lebanese TV channel Al-Mayadeen, the attack took place near the Albu Kamal border crossing, three rockets were fired at the convoy, but only one hit the truck. There were no casualties.
It was confirmed that the convoy was carrying only humanitarian aid and had obtained the necessary legal permits from the Syrian authorities.
