Imprisoned Iranian filmmaker Jafar Panahi has begun a hunger strike at Evin prison, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
The filmmaker was sentenced to six years in prison for propaganda against the authorities. In July 2022, a court hearing was held in which the court ruled that the sentence was final and binding.
