It is necessary to organize the visit of foreign ambassadors to Goris city and try to send humanitarian cargo to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in their presence. Chairman of the Democratic Party of Armenia, Aram Sargsyan, announced this during Friday’s National Assembly hearings on the ongoing Azerbaijani blockage of the Lachin corridor that links Artsakh to Armenia.
According to the aforesaid politician, in order to “bring” the Azerbaijanis to the “surface,” the Armenian authorities should do a few simple things. In particular, as per Sargsyan, it is necessary to invite all foreign ambassadors accredited to Armenia to Goris.
"By the way, let's not forget about Mrs. [Andrea] Wiktorin, the head of the EU delegation to Armenia. Let's see if we can deliver cargo to Nagorno-Karabakh or not. Now is the time to act," said Sargsyan.
To note, the humanitarian aid collected for Artsakh by the Hayastan All Armenian Fund is still in Goris. The delivery of this cargo to Artsakh has become impossible due to the blockage of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijani "eco-activists."
