Secretary Armen Grigoryan of the Security Council (SC) of Armenia on Tuesday received Brice Roquefeuil, the French Special Commissioner for the South Caucasus and the French Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, and discussed with him the situation at the Lachin corridor and the resulting severe humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The SC office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am that the parties emphasized the need to implement the legally binding decision made by the International Court of Justice regarding the reopening of the Lachin corridor by Azerbaijan.

Also, the SC secretary drew the attention of his interlocutor to the terrorist attack carried out by the armed forces of Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh on March 5, and emphasized the need for an international presence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the Lachin corridor.
