Past daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: According to the information we have, [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's "crash," as they say, carried out towards the RA coat of arms and [national] anthem is not for nothing, and the authorities plan to bring the matter of changing them to the agenda in the near future.

Moreover, according to a source of Past newspaper, several discussions have already taken place (…) on this occasion. It became known to us that composers, writers, architects, painters took part in the meeting that took place; even there are already several versions of the [new] coat of arms.

In the near future, it is planned to create a professional commission on the matters of changing the coat of arms and the anthem, and which shall study and present to the public the most successful versions selected.

At this phase, the authorities intend not to make the topic public yet, but at the same time, to throw into the public domain separate theories related to the given topic, gradually, on various suitable occasions, in order to test the sentiments and reactions.
