Armenia should participate in the EAEU summit to be held in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Alen Simonyan, speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, told this to reporters at the NA Tuesday.
"We [Armenia] are assuming the EAEU chairmanship. There is no decision at the moment, but I personally think that Armenia should participate in order to assume the chairmanship. We are assuming the chairmanship of that organization; from the economic point of view, it ensures our economic environment at the moment," said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
To note, Yuri Ushakov, the Russian presidential aide on foreign policy, had announced that Moscow received a signal from Yerevan that Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan will attend the EAEU summit.
