Elena Karpovich, head of Sochi's seismological station, told RIA Novosti of the 3.5 magnitude earth tremors that have occurred over the past few hours. The incident did not cause any accidents, the regional EMERCOM headquarters specified.

“On Saturday, the MO (municipal district - ed.) of the resort city of Sochi at a depth of 5 kilometers registered a seismic event of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale with an intensity of 2 points.
