YEREVAN. – Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan received on Monday Russian First Deputy PM Victor Zubkov.

The President stressed that high level of the political dialogue between Armenia and Russia, as well as bilateral aspirations to strengthen strategic partnership and a good atmosphere to further develop bilateral relations, presidential press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Goods turnover increases year by year, as well as number of enterprises with joint Russian investments, humanitarian cooperation becomes more diverse.

Zubkov said that Armenian-Russian relations have become closer and warmer, which were strengthened also by the mutual visits of senior officials including Sargsyan’s official visit last October.

The parties stressed importance of intergovernmental commission work on economic cooperation, whose co-chairs will meet in Yerevan on Tuesday. They considered developing cooperation in agricultural and energy spheres as well.
