YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan received Kazakhstan’s Ambassador Ayimdos Bozzhigitov to discuss possible investments into newly established free economic areas in Armenia.

“We pay a great attention to our relations with Kazakhstan and are ready to spare no effort to develop and strengthen them,” PM said.

Pointing out the great potential in developing trade-economic bilateral relations, the sides noted that their level does not correspond to the high level of Armenian-Kazakh political relations, government’s press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In this context, it is necessary to resume work of inter-government economic commission which will promote development of business ties.

Sargsyan and Bozzhigitov exchanged thoughts on implementing joint projects on IT, industry, tourism and other fields.

Ambassador asked for Armenia’s support for Kazakhstan’s application to hold Expo-2017 international exhibition in Astana.
