YEREVAN. – Yerevan City Mayor Taron Margaryan visited German Red Cross’s House of Hope in Yerevan’s Kanaker-Zeitun district on Friday and participated in the closing ceremony of ‘Charity Kitchen’ program’s 18th season.

“Currently there are 14 such canteens in Yerevan and more than 2500 people use their services. The problems of the socially vulnerable groups and the organizations supporting them are always in the center of Yerevan City Hall’s attention,” Margaryan mentioned.

The mayor also informed that the city hall conducts works towards supporting socially vulnerable families. Talking about socially vulnerable individuals, he mentioned that besides being given temporary homes they are also given the chance to find jobs.
