ISTANBUL. – The US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton and Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Istanbul on Sunday.

During the nearly-two-hour meeting, they discussed the developments in Syria, the agenda of the meeting to be held in Istanbul on April 13-14 between the P5+1 counties and Iran—and which will be devoted to Iran’s nuclear program—, and other regional issues, Hurriyet daily of Turkey informs.

And in the ensuing news conference, Secretary Clinton spoke about her own sleep deprivations, claiming that the reason was Iran’s weapons of mass destruction. She added that the US is glad Turkey has reduced, by twenty percent, the volume of its oil import from Iran.
