YEREVAN. – The Pashinyan-Putin meeting, from which there are many expectations, will take place today—on Thursday, Hraparak (Square) newspaper of Armenia reported.

“But since the parties have not reached any agreement during the 4-hour Lukashenko-Putin meeting, the expectations are not great from today’s meeting, too.

‘“The meeting will be held as normal. [Armenia’s Acting PM Nikol] Pashinyan has not taken any step which would move Russia’s concern (…),’ our [Armenian] MFA source said.

“But [Russian FM Sergey] Lavrov’s and [Russian Deputy FM and State Secretary Grigory] Karasin’s statements suggest something else. ‘There is a potential and real concern. Russia’s only concern is that there will be no change in political course in Armenia, [and] which there is not at this moment,”’ Hraparak wrote.
