YEREVAN. – The Government of the Republic of Armenia (RA) plans to make an amendment to the Law on Citizenship, according to Zhamanak (Time) newspaper.

“With that amendment, it is envisaged to confirm the list of countries where an RA citizen’s passport can be obtained at the RA embassy or consular representation in the given country.

“In case of acceptance of this amendment, a person can actually get RA citizenship without being once in Armenia,” Zhamanak wrote.
