IJEVAN. – Three candidates will run for the local self-governmental elections in the Upper Karmiraghbyur village consisting of 1,708 residents in Armenia’s Tavush Region. The three nominees, including ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member and incumbent village community head Kamo Chobanyan, the latter’s wife, non-party Lilit Yeghiazaryan, 35, and the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member Samvel Mousinyan, 55, will run for the village community head office on Sept. 23. All the three candidates made self-nomination, No. 41 election district commission of the Tavush Region told Aravot.
