YEREVAN. – En route to his working visit to China, Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan made a stop over in Astana, Kazakhstan, and met with the country’s Vice-PM Kairat Kelimbetov.
They discussed Armenian-Kazakh relations, the avenues for developing the ties, and several matters of mutual interest, informs the Armenian Government press service.
The interlocutors also reflected on the economic situation in Armenia and in Kazakhstan, and the directions toward and the prospects for their development.
Subsequently, Kelimbetov presented to Sargsyan the package of the technical solutions that are necessary for Armenia’s Customs Union membership, and views were exchanged on this matter.
