Armenia’s position on Karabakh is in line with the stance of the international community reflected in the proposals of the leaders of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing states, Armenian FM said.

Minister Edward Nalbandian answered the questions following his report during the PACE autumn plenary session.

Answering the question of Azerbaijani delegate, Minister Nalbandian noted that Armenia repeatedly voiced readiness to advance to the settlement based on these proposals.

Asked about the meeting between “Armenian and Azerbaijani communities of Nagrono-Karabakh,” Nalbandian noted that it is the idea of the Azerbaijani side and is not supported by the international community.

“You have to look attentively at the statements by leaders of the co-chairing states,” he said.

He emphasized that Minsk Group is the only format for talks with international mandate, once again reiterating Armenia’s readiness to implement the proposals presented by the Co-Chairs.
