YEREVAN. – Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan addressed a message of condolence on the death of President of European Peoples’ Party (EPP) and former Belgian Prime Minister Wilfried Martens.

In his message, PM Sargsyan extended condolences on behalf of the Armenian government. He noted that Wilfried Martens’ contribution to the European politics and spreading of European values.

“Armenia hails Mr. Martens’ personal contribution to establishment and advancement of Eastern Partnership project. Thanks to his efforts, three Armenian political parties became EPP members,” the message reads.
