YEREVAN. – Newly appointed Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Armenia Gurbannazar Nazarov on Thursday handed in the copy of his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
President Sargsyan congratulated Ambassador on the appointment and wished success in his mission aimed at strengthening and development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan.
The sides hailed mutual high level visits that have recently become frequent and noted movement in relations between the states. In this context, Ambassador Nazarov pointed out Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow’s official visit to Armenia last year as well as consistent efforts aimed at implementing the arrangements reached by the presidents.
Turkmenistan’s Ambassador assured he would spare no effort to give a new impetus to political dialogue and mutually beneficial cooperation in different areas.
